we’re not voting to build upon
but to avoid again
the same that has placed us
in the position in which we find ourselves.
this is more than a high school class president
moving beyond bullies and
those who wear the best clothes
have the most possessions
biggest house
coolest car.
you will either vote in disgust or
your illusion of gaining their trust
so vote again you must
remember
regain the pride of
equity and justice.
understand the issues
…and know what insanity is.

Be media aware, be politically aware, but most importantly be SELF aware...
